About us
Pickleball Vexin Centre is a non-profit sports association, registered with the Val-d'Oise prefecture and affiliated with the French Tennis Federation. Its purpose is to develop and organise the practice of pickleball in the Vexin français.
Its registered office is at 21 rue du Général Leclerc, 95750 Chars, France.
Why we exist
Our mission
Article 2 of our statutes sets out the purpose of the association: the development and practice of the sport of pickleball. That breaks down into five concrete missions.
- Getting our members playing — three weekly indoor sessions, open to every member whatever their level.
- Promoting pickleball to local councils, other associations, sports clubs, schools and the general public.
- Securing and organising playing surfaces for members, working with the towns of the area.
- Organising play between participants, from open sessions to sanctioned tournaments.
- Undertaking any action that furthers those aims.
The association is strictly non-profit. Every governing role is unpaid and voluntary: only expenses incurred in carrying out a mandate may be reimbursed, against receipts and reported to the general assembly. Funding comes from member subscriptions, public grants, and donations and event proceeds, all applied to non-profit projects within the association's purpose.
